Charlemont sees 10 deed transfers in August, most without disclosed sale prices
Ten properties in Charlemont recorded deed transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, per Franklin County Registry of Deeds records, but only four listed a disclosed sale price. Among those four, prices ranged from $62,500 to $336,000, with a median of $150,000. The month's top recorded sale was 9 Route 8A N at $336,000, sold by Palmeri Properties LLC to Greenfield Cooperative Bank. Maxwell Road and Main Street each saw two transfers. Several transactions involved banks or credit unions as buyer or seller, and two involved trust entities. With six of 10 deeds lacking disclosed prices, the data offers only a partial view of local market conditions this period.
