Charlemont sales span $77,500 to $675,000 as most prices go undisclosed
Charlemont recorded nine property transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only two deeds disclosed a sale price: $77,500 and $675,000, yielding a median of $376,250 based on that limited sample. The period's top disclosed sale was 421 Legate Hill Road at $675,000, sold by the Lea King Trust to James Edward and Sarah Elizabeth Charron as trustees. Several other deeds involved trust-to-trust or trust-to-individual transfers within the same families, and two sales involved a bank or mortgage-servicing entity as seller. With seven of nine sales carrying no disclosed price, the data offers only a partial picture of the month's market activity.
